Outside the window the trees lose the last leaves, the weather is thickens and rain patters dismally against the panes… And on the Internet it’s still summer: it is still shinny and business does not stop for a single moment. Even the news on the Internet has a special pace, and its own life.

In September the Internet society lived for the news about the world financial crisis. Unsteadiness in world economy and mortgage crisis in the USA have put at risk not only the largest financial institutions but the life and finances of the common people as well. We faced the situation when any bank may become bankrupt at once. And if it became possible with such giants as Lehman Brothers, the offshore banks where many payment systems keep their money may knock down like a house of cards. Exactly for that reason we paid attention to world finance crisis to find out how will it affect the common people and the Internet business.

In this issue we decided to find a key to the door through the keyhole of which one can see the concept of Rbk Money. We were attracted by a startling resemblance of Rbk Money and PayPal. We tried to understand the heart of this system and look into its eyes to understand why was it created and what purposes it has.
