Crisis, crisis, where to run, what to do… I decided to start this issue with these words in order not to differ from the other thousands of publications in all the editions covering the topic of the world financial crisis.

Surely one can see the first consequences of the crisis however it will never do to transfer them to the Internet. The Internet is developing too quickly and dynamically to be touched by the crisis. Of course, some sectors have already been affected by the liquidity deficit however in general the situation in IT industry can be defined as a stable one.

One of the most affected sectors is a billing industry. Probably, everybody has heard about the situation around the leader of the market “Russian Billing”, and we think that it is important not only to look into the problem but to learn a lesson from the situation and to try to understand what will be with billing in the future. Exactly this thing we tried to do and to tell you in the November issue of the TJ.
