At last it came the time when the sun blinks on the monitor and business activity slows down, and people are longing to go to some green lawn with their laptops. And if you’ve come with a small blanket to the grass-plot and have got connected to the Internet, and there are about 10 people, sitting around you as you do, this means that virtual economy grows faster that you think.

And it is natural, as this month the offline became closer to electronic payment systems after MoneyBookers and FaceBook have concluded a deal. It is definitely a historical moment as it is the first time when electronic payment system has come to semi-offline traffic.

Last May was rich in events, and we suppose that one of the main ones was E-Finance exhibition which was held in Expocenter (Moscow) in a middle of the month. Reporters of Trainex Journal couldn’t miss the most scaled event of the year and have appreciated the exhibition at its true value. The whole exhibition has occupied one pavilion. The program included the demonstration of new products, intended to ease settlements not only on the Internet but also between online and offline users, ceremony of awarding in various nominations, and also presentation. It is necessary to note that despite the announced scale of the event the number of visitors was not so big: stands were empty and may be it was due to the specifics of this sphere and unwillingness of online users to waste their precious time for such kind of events.

However, despite the fact that in general the vector of development of the virtual economy is up-directed, not all the players in the market are successful. September becomes closer but the hopes become less. Former financial giant Fethard has almost lost its get-up-and-go. Today even Esthost and Estdomains do not work with Fethard, and the form of electronic cash withdrawal from Fethard is closed.

In this issue we decided to raise one of the most actual questions of the modern economy, and namely the issue of stock spam. These technologies became so popular that we couldn’t pass this nightmare of the traders by.

Also in this issue we decided to view the confrontation of two giants of payment industry - Visa and MasterCard. We’ll try to find an answer who is ahead and what to wait from these companies.

An important and actual theme which was covered in the June issue of TJ was a market of Internet advertisement and its overestimation, which has sent prices up to the psychological levels that do not meet the real prices of promotional sites.
